Welcome to the Stewards Club of Arizona's website. The club was formed in 1970 with the express purpose, “To provide a pool of competent, qualified stewards for any American Kennel Club approved show-giving club at their request”. Currently we assist 13 kennel clubs' around the state of Arizona on an as needed basis to help conduct conformation, obedience and agility shows.

Our membership is quite diverse and represents hundreds of years of dog show experience. Membership to our club is quite rewarding and a great way to continue in the sport or while between dogs. Interested in Becoming a Steward?

There is education and training required if you would like to become a steward. Our club provides this training on an as needed basis throughout the year. Please email the club at  Doug Applegate for further information.

After attending our education presentation we will schedule you to apprentice at an upcoming show.
